Key specs explained for this mop pad set
Form Factor: Steam Mop
This item is a replacement pad for a steam mop system, not a standalone machine. You attach it to the PurSteam ThermaPro 10-in-1 unit. It uses heated water vapor to sanitize floors. This means you get the cleaning power of steam without buying a new device. It fits the specific foot of your existing cleaner, ensuring proper contact with the floor surface for effective dirt removal.
Material: High-density ultra-fine microfiber
The pads are made from tightly woven fibers that trap dust, grease, and dirt effectively. The high density ensures durability during repeated washing. Ultra-fine fibers lift particles from hardwood and ceramic tiles without scratching. This material choice supports chemical-free cleaning, making it safe for homes with children and pets. It provides a thorough clean using only water and heat.
Quantity: 4-ct pack
You receive four replacement pads in this package. This allows you to rotate pads while one is in the wash, ensuring you always have a clean pad ready. It extends the lifespan of your cleaning routine by providing backups. Having multiple pads is practical for larger homes or frequent cleaning sessions, reducing downtime between mopping tasks and maintaining hygiene standards.
Weight: 5.29 ounces
Each pad weighs just over five ounces. This light weight makes the mop easy to maneuver across different floor types. It reduces arm fatigue during extended cleaning sessions. The low mass ensures the steam does the work rather than heavy pressure. This spec is relevant when comparing pad sets, as lighter pads may require more manual effort to lift, though this set balances ease of use with effective scrubbing power.
Color: White, Teal
The pads feature a white and teal color scheme. White fabric shows dirt and stains clearly, indicating when a pad needs washing. This visual cue helps you maintain cleanliness standards. The teal accents may help distinguish these pads from others in your storage. Clear visibility of soiling ensures you do not spread dirt back onto cleaned surfaces, supporting a more hygienic cleaning process for your home.
Design and build details
According to the listing, these pads are crafted from high-density ultra-fine microfiber. This material choice is practical for your home cleaning routine. The dense fibers provide strong absorption power, which helps lift grease, dust, and dirt effectively. You can use them on hardwood floors and ceramic tiles without scratching the surface. The fine texture also allows the pads to clean glass, mirrors, and carpets around the home. This versatility means you do not need to buy separate cloths for different surfaces. The pads are designed to withstand high temperatures without fading, ensuring they remain functional through repeated use.
The product comes in a four-pack configuration. This quantity allows you to rotate pads during cleaning or keep spares for heavy-duty tasks. You can wash the pads in a washing machine or rinse them with water for future use. Just ensure they are completely dry before reattaching them to the mop head. This washable nature supports long-term use without constant replacement. The pads are available in white and teal colors. This is a cosmetic detail that does not affect cleaning performance. The listed weight for the pack is 5.29 ounces. This is a light addition to your cleaning setup. You will attach these pads to the PurSteam ThermaPro 10-in-1 Steam Cleaner. The system relies on steam rather than harsh detergents, making it safe for areas where children and pets play.
