Who it fits

Key Specs For Koblenz Pads

Material: Woven Nylon Fibers

These pads use durable nylon threads instead of soft abrasives. This structure allows the pad to scrub away stubborn wax buildup and embedded grime without damaging the surface. You should choose this material for heavily soiled floors or areas requiring deep cleaning. It is not suitable for delicate wood floors, as the weave may scratch the finish. Compare this to softer pads designed only for light dusting or final polishing stages.

Width: 7 inches

The pad measures seven inches across, which is slightly wider than the standard six-inch home buffer size. This extra width covers more floor area per pass, reducing the time needed to clean larger rooms. It fits most 6-inch home buffer machines, including Koblenz, Kenmore, and Regina models. When shopping, verify your machine accepts slightly larger pads. This dimension offers a balance between coverage and maneuverability in tight spaces.

Color: Green

The green color typically indicates a medium-to-heavy duty cleaning level in professional flooring systems. This shade helps you identify the pad's strength quickly during multi-pad workflows. You can use this for general purpose scrubbing on bare floors or carpeting. It distinguishes the pad from lighter yellow or white pads used for buffing. Select this color if you need to remove dirt and old wax from worn surfaces.

Weight: 1.06 ounces

Each pad weighs just over one ounce, making it very lightweight. This low weight means the pad relies on your machine's pressure rather than its own mass for cleaning power. It is easy to handle and replace during cleaning sessions. Compare this to heavier steel wool pads that require more machine power. The light weight ensures the pad does not strain smaller home buffer motors during extended use.

Packaging: Pack of 1, 45-0104-5

This listing provides a single replacement pad with the specific model number 45-0104-5. It includes plastic retainer clips to secure the pad to your buffer. This option is ideal if you only need to replace one worn pad. Other variations offer packs of two or twelve for bulk users. Check the count carefully to ensure you get the right quantity for your maintenance schedule.

Design And Build Specs

The listing describes these pads as green and constructed from woven nylon fibers. This material choice targets tough dirt and wax buildup on hard surfaces. According to the listing, the nylon weave provides deep cleaning efficiency for bare or heavily soiled floors. You should avoid using them on wood floors, as the abrasive nature of the nylon may damage the finish. The pads are designed to fit most 6-inch home buffer machines. This compatibility extends to specific Koblenz shampooers, Kenmore units, and Regina models. You will receive two pads along with two plastic retainer clips in the package. These clips secure the pad to the buffer base. The width measures 7 inches, while the length is 12 inches. This standard footprint ensures broad coverage during each pass. The weight is listed at 1.06 ounces. This light weight means the pads do not add significant load to your machine. You can handle them easily during installation or replacement. The packaging options vary by size. You can choose a single pad, a pair, or a bulk pack of twelve. This flexibility allows you to stock up based on your cleaning volume. The design prioritizes utility over aesthetics. The green color helps you identify the scrubbing grade quickly. The plastic retainers are functional, ensuring the pad stays in place during operation. You get a straightforward tool for routine maintenance. The focus remains on removing grime effectively. The specifications suggest a reliable accessory for standard floor care tasks. You should match the pad size to your buffer’s base for optimal performance. The woven structure offers durability through repeated use. This makes them a practical choice for regular cleaning cycles. The listing emphasizes quality and customer satisfaction. However, the physical specs define the actual performance. You rely on the nylon fibers and correct sizing for results.

Setup And Everyday Use Guide

Setting up these Koblenz scrubbing pads is straightforward. You attach the green nylon pads to your buffer using the included plastic retainer clips. The package provides two pads and two clips for immediate use. This simple mechanical connection ensures the pad stays secure during operation. You do not need complex tools or adhesives. The design relies on friction and clip retention to hold the pad in place on the machine base.

These pads are designed for compatibility with most 6-inch home buffer machines. They fit Koblenz shampooers and polishers, as well as Kenmore and Regina models. Before attaching, verify that your machine accepts standard 6-inch discs. The pads measure 7 inches wide and 12 inches long. This size matches the typical footprint of entry-level floor buffers. If your machine requires a different diameter, these pads will not fit.

In daily use, the woven nylon fibers tackle tough dirt, dust, and grime. The material is effective for removing wax buildup on bare floors. You can also use them on heavily soiled surfaces. The pads are not recommended for wood floors. Use them on durable surfaces that can withstand abrasive scrubbing. The nylon weave provides deep cleaning efficiency. You will need to replace the pads when the fibers wear down. The pack includes replacements to keep your cleaning routine consistent. Monitor the pad condition to maintain optimal cleaning performance.

Check Compatibility And Needs

You need to verify your machine’s pad size before purchasing. These pads measure seven inches wide, which fits most six-inch home buffers, including Kenmore and Regina models. Always check your current pad dimensions to ensure a secure fit with the included plastic retainers. You should also confirm that your surface is not wood, as the woven nylon fibers are designed for bare floors and carpeting, not delicate wood finishes. Since these are replacement pads, you will need a compatible buffer machine to use them. Consider buying larger packs if you clean frequently, as the nylon weave wears down over time with heavy grime removal. This product serves as a consumable accessory for existing floor care equipment. It does not replace your buffer but extends its utility. Pair these pads with appropriate cleaning solutions for best results. Keep spare retainers on hand to prevent loss. This item fits into your routine as a necessary supply rather than a standalone machine. Ensure your buffer’s weight and speed settings match the pad’s requirements for optimal performance.

Check before you buy

• Verify your buffer accepts seven-inch pads.
• Confirm surfaces are not wood.
• Check if you need extra retainers.
• Ensure you have a compatible machine.
