ACHTFACH and Neugo specs compared
Form factor
The ACHTFACH is a traditional steam mop with a fixed mop head design, optimized for sliding across hard floors. It features a 180-degree horizontal and 135-degree vertical rotating head for maneuverability. The Neugo is a detachable handheld steamer that converts into a floor mop. This configuration allows you to use it as a handheld unit for vertical surfaces or attach a floor glider. If you prefer a dedicated floor-cleaning tool, the ACHTFACH fits that role. If you want versatility for walls and furniture, the Neugo’s handheld design offers more flexibility in how you hold and direct the steam.
Steam levels
ACHTFACH provides two adjustable cleaning modes to handle different home scenarios. This allows you to switch between steam intensities based on the dirt level. Neugo offers three distinct steam settings: minimum for delicate hardwood, medium for daily cleaning, and maximum for tough stains. The Neugo model gives you finer control over steam output, which is useful when moving between sensitive surfaces like laminate and stubborn grime. The ACHTFACH’s two modes are sufficient for general cleaning but lack the granular adjustment found in the Neugo’s three-tier system.
Tank capacity
Both units feature large water tanks to support extended cleaning sessions. The ACHTFACH has a 400ML detachable tank that delivers up to 30 minutes of continuous steam. The Neugo tank holds 15.2 ounces of water, which is approximately 450ML. This makes the Neugo’s tank slightly larger in volume, potentially allowing for longer uninterrupted use before refilling. Both tanks are removable for easy filling and cleaning. The Neugo holds a marginal advantage in raw capacity, though the difference is small enough that both machines support thorough cleaning of medium-sized rooms without frequent stops.
Included accessories
The ACHTFACH comes with two washable and reusable mop pads for floor cleaning. It is marketed as a 6-in-1 system, implying additional heads may be available or included in specific bundles, but the core data highlights the floor pads. The Neugo is a 10-in-1 system that includes ten specific accessories. These include angle nozzles, round brushes, flat brushes, an ironing brush, a window cleaning tool, a scraping tool, and various cloths. The Neugo provides a much broader toolkit for tackling diverse tasks like ironing, window cleaning, and detailed scrubbing, whereas the ACHTFACH focuses primarily on floor maintenance.
Steam temperature
The Neugo explicitly states a steam temperature of 230 degrees Fahrenheit, which helps penetrate deep into surfaces to remove tough grime and grease. The ACHTFACH data does not list a specific temperature, only noting it heats up in 15 seconds for steady steam. The higher temperature on the Neugo can be more effective for sanitizing and breaking down sticky residues on hard floors. Without a specified temperature for the ACHTFACH, the Neugo holds a clear advantage in terms of documented thermal power for deep cleaning tasks.
Which steam mop suits your home best
You want deep cleaning power for tough grime
The Neugo reaches 230 °F steam temperature, which helps penetrate deep into surfaces to remove tough grime and grease. You get ten included accessories, including angle nozzles and brushes, making it effective for grout lines, shower tracks, and toilet bolts. This high heat and versatile toolset handle the hardest cleaning jobs in your home.
You prefer a traditional mop with wide rotation
The ACHTFACH features a 180-degree horizontal and 135-degree vertical rotating head. This design lets you reach corners and tight gaps easily while sliding across hard floors. You also get a 400ML water tank for up to 30 minutes of continuous cleaning. The fixed mop head design is ideal if you want a simple, floor-focused tool.
You need gentle steam for delicate hardwood floors
The Neugo includes a minimum steam mode that produces gentle steam safe for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl floors. It dries quickly to prevent water streaks and damage. You can adjust the steam intensity to match your specific floor type. This flexibility ensures you clean effectively without risking harm to delicate surfaces in your home.
You want a versatile handheld for whole house
The Neugo converts to a handheld steamer with ten accessories for whole-home use. You can clean windows, furniture, toys, and garments. The detachable design allows you to tackle areas beyond the floor. This multi-purpose capability means one device handles kitchen grease, bathroom stains, and daily dust, reducing the need for multiple cleaning tools.
